Miguel is in a foster home. To meet him text his consultant, Rachael at (440) 773-0270. Meet Miguel, a gentle and timid 2-year-old long-haired Chihuahua with a heart full of potential! Miguel is learning to trust and adjust to life as a beloved companion. Though he's still shy and skittish, he's taking steps toward being more comfortable, recently enjoying time relaxing on the couch next to people. This little guy will quietly follow you around, wanting to be close and watching you with curiosity, and he might let out a soft whine when he loses sight of you-an adorable sign of his growing attachment. Miguel is well-mannered with other dogs, though he prefers their quiet company over playtime. He's house-trained to go outside or use pee pads, making him easygoing with his routine. He does well when left alone in a gated area or his crate, and he's happiest with a fenced yard, as leash-walking is still a skill he's working on. One of his favorite activities is going for car rides, where he feels safe and relaxed. Miguel will do best in a patient home with owners who understand his gentle, timid nature and can help him blossom at his own pace. With a little time and understanding, he'll make a wonderfully loyal and loving companion.
