Mika

Meet Mika (A319543), a sweet and affectionate one and half year-old Staffordshire Terrier girly who is ready to find her forever home. Mika's family had to surrender her when their landlord said she could no longer stay, but despite the tough situation, she's a resilient and loving girl. Mika previously lived with two kids, and we think she’d do best with older children simply because she’s young and energetic. When Mika first arrived at the shelter, she needed some time to decompress and learn to trust people, but now she's doing wonderfully and has really come out of her shell. Mika loves to relax, especially in a cozy dog bed by the staff's desk, where she can take a well-deserved nap. She already knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and is eager to continue learning. Mika would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention as the only pet, where she can receive all the love and training she deserves.
