Meet Miley!
This girl gets her name from her adorable smile that stole our hearts when we first saw her in a rural shelter. We pulled Miley from a shelter with a high euthanasia rate. She was timid, and being nervous is enough reason to lose your life in this shelter.
Miley is about a year old, maybe 2 max. She is tiny and full grown at about 25 pounds. Our best guess is that she is a cattle dog and terrier mix. She is all legs! Miley has been doing wonderful working on her crate, potty, and leash training. We think her time in foster care is the first time she's lived in a house, so we are very impressed with her progress.
Miley is pretty low energy and mostly quiet. She enjoys the company of her foster dog siblings and her foster parents. She loves to snuggle up in a cozy spot and relax. She occasionally plays with the other dogs in the home but is still a little nervous with rough housing, so calmer dogs would be more ideal in her forever home. Miley's ideal home is one with a fenced yard since she prefers not to potty on the leash and can still be nervous on walks, however, an adopter willing to work on this would be an exception. We prefer Miley is adopted into a home with at least one other dog that will show her the ropes. She would also thrive with adopters who want a smaller dog that seeks affection, as she will follow you around and demand love as much as she can get it!
Miley is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and prevention, and heartworm negative. If interested in meeting Miley, please apply on our website:
