Millie

Meet Millie! Millie just joined our rescue so we are still learning about this girl. She came from the Blue Ridge Mountains when we visited a shelter in that area. She was found as a stray and is heartworm positive, so she is finishing up her heartworm treatment with us. Millie spent a weekend with our team members camping and even went for a short hike! She did very well hanging out in the camper van and also being crated as needed. She walks really well on a leash and does great out in public. Millie is dog friendly but feels happier around dogs with calm energy. She likes to play when she gets warmed up. Millie is ver affectionate and loves people. She is a great medium size and has the softest blonde fur! Her little ears perk up when you talk to her. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is out! At this time she has not met kids or cats so we don't know how she would do. Millie is already spayed and microchipped, and she is up to date on prevention. She is finishing up her heartworm treatment with us. She is available for adoption while she finishes her treatment (ideally a foster to adopt)!
