My Story

Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. Energy level: medium Potty training: trained Crate: not needed Shared walls: suitable People: adults only, no children Dogs: friendly Other: has separation anxiety Overview Meet Milo, a well-trained, 10-pound bundle of tail wags and charm who's currently accepting applications for his next best friend. This piebald cutie is 3.5 years young and has his PhD in snuggles with a minor in fetch. Environment Milo is a rare combination of well-mannered gentleman and playful goofball. He's mastered the art of leash walking and looks forward to his daily adventures. While he'd love a backyard for his daily zoomies, he's adaptable enough to thrive without one. He does fine in homes with shared walls, though he may express his feelings with a touch of dramatic whimpering as he's a bit of a velcro dog who thinks alone time is overrated. He has some separation anxiety and needs a family who can help him work through this with patience and understanding. Pets & People This social butterfly never met a friend he didn't like (except bathroom trash cans - those are clearly suspicious and must be investigated thoroughly). He's wonderful with adults and other dogs but he's decided babies aren't his cup of kibble. During walks, he's always on the lookout for potential playmates, both human and canine, greeting them with a polite sniff instead of a bark. He's a smart, playful pup who's eager to please. Milo is looking to live his best life as a professional toy fetcher and expert couch companion. He's incredibly gentle with food and treats, proving that good manners come in adorable packages. He even travels like a champ, settling right down in the car. Location Milo is available for adoption from Franklin Lakes, NJ and into New England. Please email [email protected] with any questions or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Milo is $375.
