BIG DOGS NEED FAMILIES 2 !!! Mimosa is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees Maremma cross who weighs 65 pounds. She was found as a stray on the California coast. A stray who turned out to be pregnant and gave birth to TEN gorgeous pups. Despite her difficult past, Mimosa has the gentlest and most affectionate demeanor. It’s clear she wasn’t always treated kindly, but she hasn’t let that dim her loving spirit. She adores being petted and will gently paw at you if you stop —as if to say, “More love, please!” Snuggles are her favorite, and she’s happiest when she’s close to her humans. Mimosa gets along well with other dogs and is wonderful with humans of all ages. She has a calm and friendly nature that makes her an excellent companion for families, individuals, or anyone looking for a loyal, affectionate friend. It appears she spent most of her life outdoors, so she is still learning how to be an inside dog. She’s discovering the joys of soft beds, warm spaces, and the comfort of being part of a home. While she enjoys the indoors, she still loves fresh air and will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or property where she can safely roam and enjoy the outdoors. Please note: Mimosa has not been exposed to cats or livestock while in foster care. She rides well in the car, making her a great travel buddy, and she’s ready to settle into a home where she’s the center of attention.
