Please let us introduce Miss Charlie! This sweet girl was found in a remote area with her mom....both had been abandoned and left to survive on their own. Thankfully, they were rescued! Though we don’t know their actual history, we believe that, since mom is a full blooded pittie, they were dumped by a breeder who no longer found either of them useful....so sad! The good news is that both are receiving lots of TLC in a kind foster care while waiting for forever homes of their own.
Miss Charlie is a little over 1 year old, weighing in at 55 pounds. We think she is a pittie/hound mix, but that’s a best guess. What we do know is that this sweet gal is pretty much a Heinz 57 pup...the best kind! She is a lovable, active and happy girl who will thrive as part of a family that will take her on hikes, walks and fun adventures. She gets along well with other dogs so having a canine companion would be great. A kitty-free home will be best as she is not a fan of cats. She’s house trained and walks well on a leash. Being in a crate is not yet her favorite thing, but her foster mom is working to help her with that. Miss Charlie wants to please her people so she’ll learn everything she needs to become your best companion. Because of her friendly disposition, we think she would do fine with kids over 6. Though she is a happy, friendly, loving girl, energetic young dogs are usually not the best match for younger children as they may knock them over in their exuberance to play.
Charlie has been spayed, micro-chipped and she’s up to date with her vaccinations. All this sweet girl needs now is a place to hang her leash where she’ll never be abandoned again. If you would like to give Charlie the happily ever after that she deserves, please contact Lindsay [email protected] for an application Her adoption fee is $350. She’s waiting for you!
