My Story

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation. NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS - NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/3/2025: Miss Chloe - female - 5 years old - 11.6 pounds - Miniature Pinscher Reason for intake: We were contacted by a rescue friend with a screenshot of a little Min Pin being given away on Facebook. She knew the man and put us in touch with each other. He explained how his mother is suffering with dementia and can no longer care for little Miss Chloe and he is out of town for work to be able to take care of her. He just wanted Miss Chloe to have a lap with someone who would love her as much as his mom did. He did explain she was already a year old when he got her so the home crop ear job was done prior to him getting her. She's heading to our vet to get her caught up on vaccinations and do a heartworm test, etc. She is already spayed. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
