Cuteness alert! Meet Missy, affectionately called Missy Wishbone by her foster mom. She is one of seven puppies that were turned over to our rescue. All have been fully vetted and are now receiving excellent care in a kind and experienced private foster home while waiting for a place to hang their leashes forever. Missy is 7 months old and weighs around 30 pounds...every ounce is filled with sweetness. She’s the smallest of the litter. Our best guess as to her primary breed is lab – probably with some pittie in the mix. What we KNOW is that this little darling is lovable, affectionate and smart! She learns quickly and listens well. Her foster mom and dad are teaching her the ropes of house, crate and leash training to help get her ready for her forever homes. She's learning to walk on leash. At her young age, she will, of course, need ongoing training, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, this well-loved little girl will be a wonderful family companion. As the smallest of the litter, Missy has learned to stand her ground at feeding time, but gets along with her brothers and sisters when it's time for play. She thinks cats are for chasing, so she will probably do best in a home with no kitties. She spends her days doing what puppies do...eat, play, nap...repeat. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her doggy bag is packed and she is ready to head to a loving forever home.
