Moana

Moana is a darling Maltese female that is one of the 54 Hammertime dog park, dumped dogs. Cause for Paws had taken in 13 of the females that came to us in very bad shape, all matted, nails embedded into fur, and now all have been shaved down to start with a fresh coat. All very sweet little girls, some very shy while others have adapted quite well into their foster homes. Most are now adopted. Moana is thought to be about 2 yrs old, very sweet, somewhat shy still but very eager for attention and loves to be held. Currently in foster care with Merida, another of the females. They are working on housebreaking and doing well. Girls are very comfortable in the company of other small dogs, ,large dogs seem to be scary to them. Moana and Merida will need the company of another dog and a fenced yard in their new homes. All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them. For the safety and convenience of our foster homes and their orphans, we will only consider applicants that are within a 100 mile adoption radius.
