Meet Mochi – The Sweetest Snuggle Bug Looking for His Forever Home! Mochi's journey hasn’t been easy, but we know the right family will help him shine. Originally from Blount County, Alabama, Mochi came to us a very shy, frightened pup who was too scared to even go on walks. His foster family in Florida, however, was incredibly patient and loving, and with the help of his foster sister, Mochi began to come out of his shell. At first, his family even got him a stroller so he could still join in on family walks! After some time, Mochi was adopted, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out. He was returned to us after a year because of a few misunderstandings with their golden retriever and some typical puppy behaviors, like scratching. Sadly, Mochi didn’t receive the proper training he needed, which left him struggling to thrive in a busy household. Mochi is still that loving and sweet boy, full of potential. He is around 2 years old, fixed, and a mixed breed. He loves laying in the sun, chewing on his bones, and cuddling with his favorite people. He’s an affectionate, snuggly dog who just needs a patient family to give him the love and guidance he deserves. We believe Mochi would do best in a home without other dogs, or with a calm female dog. He thrives in a calm environment where he can feel safe and secure. Mochi has been let down by his previous families, but we know there’s a family out there who will give him the love he’s been craving.
