Meet Mojito! This quirky dog has started to come out of his shell and is ready to meet new people. He came in from a home with very many other dogs. This usually means they were not very well socialized with people. He has been very shy at MASH but he is starting to relax. He has warmed up and likes to spend more time with people now. Mojito can still be shy at first and needs people to be gentle and patient. He will need a calm and patient family. Go slow and let him approach you. He may get overwhelmed if someone moves to quickly towards him. Mojito enjoys treats and takes them very gently. Mojito walks well on a leash and likes to go outside. Sometimes he gets nervous when walking through doorways or new places. He has chewed on leashes when nervous so we recommend using a thick leash or a chain leash. He will likely need some time learning how to be housebroken. He seems very smart. A family that wants to spend time teaching their dog cute tricks will likely have a lot of fun with him. Mojito has done well meeting other dogs. He is pretty mellow and would likely do well with another chill dog to hang out with. We do not know how he will be with cats or children. He will likely do well with calm children who can give him some space as he gets used to his new home and family.
