My Story

We would like to introduce you to our girl, Molly with a note from her foster mom: Molly Polly Oh My Golly Hot Tamale - Molly the foster for short ....has been with us since April. Spayed, up to date on shots and preventatives, 3ish years old about 40lbs. How is she with other dogs? - See the pic where she's being used as the pack pillow. She's perfect. How is she with cats? - She couldn't possibly care less about their existence. She's perfect. Is she potty trained - She is both crate and house trained once she has a routine. She's perfect. Behavioral Notes - She is a lazy hound dog. She sleeps 80% of her day and the other 20% is a mix of eating and potty breaks. She doesn't own a mean bone in her body. She is the sweetest kindest most gentle soul that currently exists in our world. Her fight or flight switch is broken though. She is scared of everything and will run until she forgets what scared her and then get caught up in side adventures. She will need months to work up trust with her human before you can trust her off a leash even in a fenced yard. She WANTS love, you just have to prove your worth. She is also a ferret like thief....or a dragon in seek of treasure. If you are not looking at her she will steal whatever she can lift and then lay on it. She's not destructive at all though, just loves her shiny precious treasure. Requirements/Non-Negotiables to adopt - You will need to spoil her with only love and positive reinforcement. If you don't know what that is or can't commit to being as gentle with her as she is with you even when she's scared ...she's not for you. She must be in indoor dog with leash walks only and you must have a fenced in yard. If you think you have a gentle enough soul to give Molly a sofa to crash on for the rest of her days check out the adoption requirements through Monroe County Friends of Animals/TN Monroe County Animal Shelter now Eastbourne Animal Center Molly is in a foster home so please give us a call at (423-436-2900) or email us at [email protected] if you would like to meet her.
