MOPSIE is an itty bitty cutie pie looking for a home of her own. She's a 2 year old 8 pound terrier mix. We think she's a Yorkshire Terrier mix, she has a Yorkie face, but her coat is an usual blend of tan and cream. Mopsie's coat is a little sparse right now thanks to fleas and poor nutrition but she's now flea free and on a healthy diet and will "hair up" quickly. Mopsie is a CHARACTER. She's full of energy and lightning quick. She enjoys attention and affection but this little girl will NOT be content to be a lap dog. She wants to play! Mopsie is best suited to a home with no small children or big dogs. She would love another small doggie playmate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
