My Story

Mouse, at about 3 months old, and only weighing in at a couple of pounds, and just look at those stinkin' ears! He is as cuddly as you could ever hope for, and as much of a kisser that you can handle with puppy breath! While I doubt he will ever grow into those ears, it's truly what makes Mouse - Mouse! And he's just way too cute! He loves all things, but what he loves most is being held, petted, played with, and of course; TREATS! We know he will do amazingly in just about any loving home! I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable deposit of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic, not covered elsewhere), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of my sterilization is sent to AWF! Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!! Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns. DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following: Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level) Source documents from which to analyze characteristics Consultation with other staff
