Once upon a time, this 37-pound bundle of joy was found wandering as a stray, but his story didn't end there. Thanks to a kind-hearted finder, Mr. Max made his way to us, bringing along tales of his big heart and playful charm. In his temporary home, he was a hit with everyone-whether it was cuddling up with the kids, romping around with the resident pups, or simply soaking in the love from his new human friends. During his time with us, he's been a lively, friendly boy, happily chasing after tossed toys (though he'll pass on anything dangly, thank you very much). Mr. Max is a social butterfly, and has been well-mannered with other dogs, politely respecting boundaries even in tricky situations. This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the pet's profile to see if they are located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
