My Story

I'm Ms Twitchell and I will teach you all about love, fun and happiness. I'm ~11 years old, aussie / heeler mix and just the most beautiful queen there is. I may be a "senior" but I still have a lot of playful energy. I love going for walks, hanging out and exploring in the yard, being your shadow. I love to eat and get treats too :) I do have to take daily meds for my heart murmur and my arthritis but it doesn't slow me down. I get along well with all my foster doggy siblings, big and small. I even get along with my bunny foster brother. I don't live with cats but I'm so chill, I think I'll be ok with them too. I would be a great family dog, but I do love treats so much that I am still learning not to chomp on someone's hand when they have what I think are treats in their hand. I also have some hearing loss and don't like to be startled. I am not great with personal space so I may knock little ones down. So for now, no small kids for me. Overall, I am such a wonderful girl who just needs a loving and fun family to spend the rest of my retirement with! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100.
