Muggsy

Muggsy is a very cute young male dog (10-12 months) with a “rag-doll” coat. He was found wandering in the neighborhood - starving, his gorgeous coat full of burrs, and pleading for someone to claim him, take him home, and love him. A caring foster mom took him home and he has received lots of food, attention, and doggie siblings to play with. Muggsy was recently neutered, received all puppy shots plus Bordetella and Rabies, and was given preventative medication to guard against fleas, ticks, and worms. (None of those has been observed.) . At the time of his surgery, he weighed 43 pounds, but he is receiving extra servings to help him gain a little weight and he is thriving. Muggsy will eat everything he can get to, so he should be fed separately from animal siblings until he comes to know food is regularly and predictably available. He loves rawhide chews! He is learning “down/off”, “inside”, “outside”, “sit”, “stay”, and “go to bed”. This boy wants to be someone’s lap dog while he is making up for love he has missed as a puppy. He is very sweet and will reward his new owner with lots of love, attention, and loyalty. He needs a house with a fenced yard, and an energetic doggie sibling would be a dream come true for Muggsy.
