Nadia

- Foster or Adopt Nadia! - Nadia is a one-year-old shepherd mix with a sweet, gentle nature. She was found in the same area as the dumped cattle dogs and has been in a wonderful foster home, but she is now in boarding, and we’re worried about her deteriorating without a stable home. She really needs a place to decompress. She’s been great with the kids in her foster home and is friendly with both people and dogs. She walks beautifully on a leash and doesn’t react to other dogs, animals, or distractions while out on walks. She has successfully lived with other dogs in foster but is selective about the dogs she’s comfortable sharing a home with. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog or with a calm, well-matched companion. Nadia has separation anxiety and struggles with crating, so she’d do best with someone who’s home more often than not. She’s about to see a veterinary behaviorist at Synergy Veterinary Behavior to help her feel more secure. We can pay for respite care when you need to leave the home! Lots of resources will be provided. She just needs an animal free home to thrive! She is truly the sweetest girl—gentle, loving, and so deserving of a chance.
