Neenah is everything you could ever want in a little pittie bestie- shes affectionate and sweet, far more couch potato than athlete, and shes such a good girl! Neenah would be a great family dog, or a perfect pooch for a homebody type looking to fill a spot on the couch.
Neenah currently weighs in at a petite and sweet 38 pounds, and we believe her to be an APBT, Staffordshire terrier mix. She is a rescue- so these are just our best guesses. Neenah is estimated to be around 7 years old- an established good girl! Neenah has a lot to show for her age- excellent social skills, a peaceful and calm demeanor, and excellent manners. Shes spent her whole life studying up to be your perfect pup!
Fall in love with Neenah here:
This adorable girl is best described as a medium energy girl- shes peaceful, relaxed and calm, with a playful side that peeks out when the time is right. Shes warm and friendly with everyone she meets, her tail wags for all and she connects with people through eye contact and a big pittie smile. She loves snuggles and belly-rubs, and our kennel staff reports that she melts into their hands for affection!
Neenah was previously fostered in a home with other dogs, and did wonderfully living as a member of the pack. She did perfectly with her foster moms resident chi-mixes, and has done well with small scruffy dogs here at the rescue. Neenah is small dog friendly! Neenah is great with dogs of all sizes, and prefers calmer dogs like herself. Shes tolerant and polite with everyone though, taking this girl to your besties pups birthday pawty will be a breeze.
Here at the rescue, Neenah was tested with kids and we found that she absolutely adores kids over ten. She loves the extra attention they bring, and the quieter nature they have compared to the littlest of little ones. Neenah would love to live the family dog lifestyle.
Neenah has a great grasp on basic obedience. She knows sit, and auto-sits for treats. She walks politely on the leash. She shares treats and affection well with other dogs. Shes good in her crate here at the rescue, she doesnt bark or whine when we enter the room, she waits patiently for her turn to hang out with us. Neenah is already such a good girl, but if you would like to pursue further training, you should know that shes super food motivated! She takes treats so gently too, making further training enjoyable and rewarding for both of you.
Neenah is so polite, and she has such great house manners. Here at the rescue, she doesnt have indoor accidents, and goes potty right away once outside. Shes very respectful of the furniture and waits patiently at doors.
Neenah is so adored by so many, and we cant wait to see her in her forever home. Neenah would make an amazing family dog, and could do well in a multi-dog home. She is quiet, sweet and well-behaved enough to thrive as an apartment dog. We are willing to test Neenah with anything you need us to in order to ensure shes the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescues hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical caresuch as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic carecan lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
