Nellie was taken in as an undersocialized pup, and while she’s come so far, she still needs a patient, understanding home where she can continue to thrive.
Now, let’s be clear: Despite her initial nerves, Nellie is not reactive. When she’s feeling unsure, her go-to move is to quietly retreat to a corner, avoid eye contact, and hope the moment passes. But here’s the magic—clip a leash to her collar (gently, of course), and it’s like flipping a switch! Suddenly, Nellie lights up, tail wagging, body wiggling, and she prances toward the door like she’s been waiting her whole life for this moment. Walkies are her happy place, and once she’s moving, all those nerves seem to melt away.
She’s not just a great walking buddy—Nellie loves other dogs too!
