Nellie came from a rural shelter where she found herself on the euthanasia list due to time/space. We are so lucky she has landed a foster home in the Sacramento area but is in need of an adoptive home to call her own as her foster cannot keep her forever. Nellie has done well going on parallel walks with dogs and slow intros, but would do best as a solo dog as princess of the palace in the home. Nellie doesn’t ask for much but is so grateful for everything! She is low to moderate activity, housetrained, friendly with people and would make an amazing addition to lots of types of homes. $100 Adoption Donation Interested in adopting? 1. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days.
