She's a party girl, still very young and frivolous. She's not interested in hunting (with the exception of destroying stuffed toys), but she's definitely curious to explore and her nose is surely ready to do the research. Nelly would love to have a big fenced yard to run in - we'd love her to have a very secure fence to keep her research limited. Now, when Nelly isn't running, playing with other dogs or sniffing, she is all about being close to her humans. She's as open-hearted with people as she is with other dogs, but we think she might have a soft spot for men. Whether it's snuggling in bed or riding shotgun in the car, as long as she's with you she's happy. Nelly is crate trained and walks pretty well on leash with a harness. She is coming along with house training but may require a refresher course in a new environment. She would definitely benefit from learning some basic commands, but has one cute trick already down. If you pat your chest, Nelly will jump from the floor to your arms. 'I'm yours' she says, and...she is heartworm negative, spayed and ready for a sleepover!
