My Story

Nero is a darling 4 month old Beagle puppy looking for a home. He is Beagle through and through - he enjoys sniffing and is incredibly intelligent. As scent hounds, Beagles are active breeds. According to AKC, Beagles are loving and lovable, happy, and companionable - all qualities that make them excellent family dogs. No wonder that for years the Beagle has been the most popular hound dog among American pet owners. These are curious, clever, and energetic hounds who require plenty of playtime. Nero loves to play with his foster siblings. He quickly figured out the doggy door and stairs to the bed in his foster home. Personality wise, he is more independent than his brother, Rufus. He likes to gather all the toys together in the house. He is usually the last to come inside from exploring in the yard; the leader of the hoodlum bunch! He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and ready to go home with you! ************************************ Nero is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at https://bit.ly/HOTNADOPTUSA Adoption process: Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption. ************************************ Rufus is located in a foster home.
