Nessie

Hi there! We are Nora and Nessie and we are ready to find our new families! We’re 4-month-old Cockapoos, which means we’re a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Nora weighs 8 pounds, and Nessie is just 6 pounds. But we’ll probably grow to be about 15-20 pounds when we’re all grown up. We didn’t have the best start in life since we came from a breeder release situation, so we’re still figuring out what it means to be loved and cared for. Because of that, we’re a little shy and under-socialized, but you can see when you meet us how much we crave affection. Nessie is a bit braver than Nora when it comes to meeting new people or trying new things, but she’s starting to come out of her shell too! Once we have been with our new families for a while our pasts will be just that, the past! Our foster mom is doing an amazing job helping us adjust to family life. We’re working on crate training and house training and we are happy to report so far, so good! She says we’re very sweet and eager to please, so we’ll pick it up quickly. We do well with other dogs and even cats! Before we find our forever families, we’ll be spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and come with a health certificate to make sure we’re ready to start our new lives. While we are sisters, we don’t have to be adopted together. We’re each ready to bring lots of love and cuddles to our own perfect families.
