Adoption fee: $475.00 MEET NEWT Newt is a very sweet and smart little Maltese boy who is up-to-date on everything . He is 4 years old and a 8.8 lb. bundle of love. He is usually very skittish when he first meets you and does not like to be approached until he checks you out for a few minutes. He will just back away until he's ready. A small treat usually helps to break the ice fast! Newt loves to snuggle with his humans. He is currently being spoiled in a foster home in Little River, SC where he made himself right at home, and instantly befriended their little Maltipoo girl. We don’t know about cats, although he is very inquisitive when he hears the neighbor’s cat meowing next door. Newt is very playful and curious about everything. Since Newt comes from a rather restricted environment, he will need a little help in the house-training department. He has learned to walk on a leash but could benefit from some additional training. Newt loves to go for rides and does well in the car. He loves his food (and treats) and is always first in line at feeding time. Newt would do best in a forever home with a fenced yard as he is definitely an explorer inside and outside the home. Adoption fee: $475.00
