Meet Newton, a gentle and shy 1-year-old Poodle mix who is looking for a patient, understanding family. Newton may be a little reserved at first, preferring his personal space, but with time and trust, he begins to open up, especially around other puppies. He has a calm demeanor and enjoys the company of those who respect his pace. Newton has a soft spot for rope toys and can often be found quietly playing with them. He’s still working on his socialization skills and could use some guidance when it comes to walking on a leash. With the right support and gradual exposure, Newton is sure to grow into an even more confident and affectionate companion. This sweet boy needs an owner who can go slow and help him build confidence in a low-pressure environment. If you're ready to be patient with Newton and provide him with the love and security he needs, he will reward you with loyalty and a deep bond as he continues to blossom into the loving dog he is meant to be. Newton should do fine in a household with other dogs given proper introductions.
