IDGSR Welcomes NEWTON into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Newton and I'm an adorable 4-week old Shepherd mix dude. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport at the end of February 2025. Quick Facts: Age - 4-weeks old Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard Kids - would do great with kids Dogs - will do fine with all dogs Cats - will do fine with cats Training - will need full range of obedience training 1. My mom Nika (see pictures) was in a scary shelter when she was rescued and brought into the safety of IDGSR to have her puppies! 2. We aren't exactly sure who my dad is, probably the milk bone delivery pup. Our best guess is that he was maybe a black Lab because thats kind of what I look like! Wouldn't it be cool to do a DNA test to see what I'm mixed with?! 3. Being a baby, I'll get along with anyone & everyone! Have kids, cats, horses, ducks, or other dogs? Great! I'll learn to interact just fine. 4. When I'm a bit bigger, will you paw-promise to train me?! I know I'll be super smart and learn all sorts of obedience commands. 5. Since I'm just a little pupper, I am not house or crate trained. It will take some time and patience to teach and for me to learn but I know I'll get it! 6. If you are ready to commit to 10-15 years of love, laughter, adventures, and sloppy kisses - I'm your guy! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
