Meet Nicholas! Nicholas is approximately 1 year old and is though to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier type mix (and we're fairly certain he's actually part pig) This snorty, unrefined little marshmallow is guaranteed to make you giggle every single day. He is so full of personality that there's no way you won't become obsessed with him. Nicholas's ideal new family would be one who is involved and open to training needs - because we don't know his history, we would recommend being ready for things like potty training, basic obedience & manners training, and anything else he may not have had previously. So far he has done well with leash walking, going into his kennel, and sitting for us when we have a treat! Naturally, he's a bit distracted in the shelter environment but if someone is as loyal to him as he will be to you, he should flourish! *A loving supporter sponsored training for Nicholas at Fun Fur Pets in La Crosse, WI that will be included with his adoption! We don't know if Nicholas has met cats before, and he seems to respond well around the dogs at the shelter so it may just depend on the personality of the other dog in the home. Otherwise, we don't think he has any qualms about being your only baby and might actually love being the center of your world. This compact little dude is fun sized but has the personality of a rhino! If that's your kind of mush-muffin, Nicholas would love to meet you. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
