Meet Nikki (ID-#6455), an 8-year-old, 17 lbs dog with a heart full of love to give. This gentle senior girl found herself at the shelter on 11/23/24 as an owner surrender after her adventurous spirit led her to escape her yard one too many times, resulting in some trouble with the neighbor's chickens. Despite her mischief, Nikki is an incredibly sweet and loving dog who deserves a safe and secure forever home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love. Nikki is calm and gentle, great with dogs, and even cats. She is UTD on vaccines and will be microchipped before adoption. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heart worms and is too old to be spayed at the shelter. Nikki needs a family willing to help her overcome her challenges, providing her with the care.
