Niko

Niko has had it a little rough lately. He is a very sweet Senior Pit Bull who loves everyone he meets whether that would be dogs, adults, kids ... you name it. His foster mom has a Staffy, Pom and a Schichon and he enjoys the company of the all - size does not matter to this guy! Prior to coming into rescue, Niko was suffering with multiple skin and ear infections, which he is undergoing treatment for currently. He also has a couple tumors that the rescue is going to have assessed further once he gets his current infections better managed ... That is the plan recommended by the Vet for right now. Despite not feeling his best, Niko remains as sweet and kind as can be as he heals. If interested in adopting NIko, please note the rescue will continue to help in his care and treatment till he fully recovers. Fun Fact about this boy - he talks ... Like Chewbacca from Start Wars. It is quite sweet and enjoyable! Niko would do well in a laid back home (retired couple or low key family looking for the companion of a dog but not all the work that comes with puppies or young adult dogs). He is happy to chill with you while you work or watch tv, or cook or hang out. He is very low key! He isn't one that is going to walk a marathon as it is just not his 'thang".
