Meet Nixon! Nixon is a playful, energetic 7-month-old pup ready to find his forever home! This sweet boy walks well on a leash and gets along wonderfully with other small dogs, as shown during his time in foster care. While Nixon adores people, he’s still learning his size, so he’d do best in a home with older children who can help with his training. As a growing puppy, Nixon is still in his chew phase. While he prefers not to be crated, he’ll tolerate it and should be crated when unsupervised to keep him safe. Nixon is happiest when he’s burning off energy—he loves playing fetch, tug-of-war, and going on long walks. He’s also a big fan of car rides and would make a great adventure buddy! Currently, Nixon is being treated for hookworms, and we hope to send him to his forever family with a clean bill of health.
