Noel

Noel is 8 weeks old and weighs approx. 2 lbs. Noel was born here at the rescue with her 6 siblings. The puppies had a bit of rough start with Momma Betty having to have an emergency c-section due to pregnancy complications. With the pregnancy complications Momma Betty did not have much milk at all and the puppies needed to be tube fed for the first week and then we supplemented daily for 5 weeks until they started to eat some soft food. Noel and her siblings are all thriving now and doing great. These little bundles of joy are very sweet and active. They love to be loved and love to play with their toys, in the tunnel and on the slide we have given them. I am really going to miss them as they go on to join their new families. I have dewormed them at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks. They go to see the vet and start their vaccines on 1/3/2025 and then will be ready to join their families. I have introduced a litter box since the weather has been to cold to take them outside and 9/10 times they have been making it to the litter box to potty. They play hard and sleep hard. When I let them out to play they like to find the kitten that we have here at the rescue to chase and smell her. These puppies are going to need to follow up with your veterinarian for vaccines at 11, and 15 weeks of age for more vaccines. We will be adopting them out on spay/neuter contract that states that they must ben spayed or neutered by the time they are 8 months old. Due to their size we feel that it is best to let them grow more before sedating them for a surgical procedure. They are also non shedding which means they will need to be brushed and groomed regularly about every 4-6 weeks to keep them looking their best and keep from getting a matted coat. Please keep this in mind when applying to adopt. So far here with us they have had 2 baths, regular toe nail trims, and we have also used the clippers to shave the bottom of their feet and sanitary areas.
