My Story

Introducing Noelle! Have you always wanted a Rottweiler but thought they were a bit big for your home or lifestyle? How about an Australian Shepherd? But thought again because they are to high energy? Well friend, today is your lucky day. We think Noelle may be the best of both worlds. She has the gorgeous coloring and look of a rottie/black tri-australian shepherd, but only weighs 51lbs and is extremely chill! When Australian Shepherd and chill are used in the same sentence we call that a unicorn. Noelle somehow ended up at a high kill shelter in Houston. She was added to the euthanasia list after only a couple weeks because she contracted a doggy cold. Thankfully her foster Mom saw her plea for help and swooped in to save her. Noelle is a bit shy at first, especially of men. She isn't going to be a dog that will run up and lick your face the first second you meet her, but we can tell she wants to love and trust so badly. She is always near her foster mom giving her the cutest puppy dog eyes. She totally fine with pets and attention but not to much to soon. It will take time a loving family who understands what it means to adopt a rescue dog before she is able to blossom into the confident dog we know she will be. She is being fostered with a kid and other dogs and likes them both. In fact another dog in the home actually makes her feel more confident so it would be great if she found a home with another fur sibling. She also met a cat while at the shelter and she did well with it as well. If you are seeing a trend here it's that she is a gentle sweetheart. She is kennel and potty trained and walks like a champ on leash. Even though she is a low to medium energy gal we'd love to find her a family that wants to include her in walks and adventures because she is still young at an estimated 2yrs old. The shelter had her listed as an Australian Shepherd Mix but of course we don't know her actual breed.
