Nola is a medium energy good girl who is 1 year old. She is a beautiful mix of multiple different breeds, but is primarily Pittie. She currently tips the scales at a soft and snuggly 57 pounds, and she's gentle and considerate about her size. She can jump for affection at times, but its gentle- Nola clearly thinks of her paws as hands, she hugs with them, holds hands with them, and paws at you for pets if you dare to stop showering her in your affection.
Nola has great house manners, and she walks pretty well on leash already! She's a gentle treat-taker and eager to please, which makes training enjoyable for both of you!
She is currently fostered in a home with multiple other dogs and a special needs teenager that she gets along famously with. Her foster mom reports that she rides well in the car- between her car riding skills and her friendliness, we think she would make a great go-anywhere dog. Take her to the park and watch her make friends and steal hearts!
Nola is very dog friendly, and would love some doggy siblings of her very own. She plays so well with others, she's tolerant and kind with them, giving little kisses and forgiving roughhousing bumps and body slams. Here at the rescue, Nola was cat tested, and we believe her to be cat tolerant. She could live with dog savvy kitties. See her cat test for yourself in her video.
Nola Pudding's perfect home would have at least one loving human to adore her, and be adored by her. Nola would prefer a home with a back yard, because she can be known to zoom, but she could do well with leash walks and park time to keep her happy and healthy. While she would likely love some four-legged siblings, we're confident that she would thrive as an only dog as well. Nola is incredibly people focused and wants nothing more than a forever family.
For any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Nola with anything you need us to in order to ensure shes the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescues hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical caresuch as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic carecan lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
