My Story
We’re pleased to introduce you to Nora, a sweet young lady who packs a lot of bravery and affection in such a little body! She’s only been in her foster home for a couple of days, but Nora has already shown her fearless demeanor by being an excellent walk buddy. Her favorite parts of walks are collecting pine cones, chasing down leaves, and meeting other people and dogs.
When she’s not outside exploring her new world, Nora can be found doing one of three things: 1) playing with stuffed toys or tennis balls; 2) sleeping on anything soft; 3) snuggling with her foster parents. Nora is a very smart cookie and has already learned how to sit on command. She also knows how to play fetch and will willingly bring the ball back to her foster parents and give it up to be thrown again. Nora asked her foster parents to pass on this message:
“Hello! I’m looking for my forever family, could that be you? I’m very curious about the world around me and I love to explore. My foster parents also say that I play gently and am a fast learner. I just saw snow for the first time, and I think it’s tasty and fun to play in! While I look for my new family, I’ll be busy snuggling up to everyone I meet.”
Nora is a patient girl and her foster parents would like to note that she already knows not to steal their food when they’re eating. She is quickly learning how to go potty outside, and sleeps in her x-pen quietly at night. Finally, Nora is an excellent snuggle buddy and has some hilarious traits that make her a very entertaining furry friend. She has a funny habit of wrestling with her stuffed toys and kneading them with her paws while holding them in the air, for example. If she seems like a good fit for you, we know she’ll love to meet you!
Nora is estimated to be 4.5 months old and 23 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
