My Story

I'm Odis and I love life! Some kind people found me when I was just about 4-months-old, all alone, tired, thirsty, malnourished and covered in fleas. Fast forward about a month, and here I am. . . happy, healthy and so excited for my forever home! I'm a smart, labrador-mix boy, about 5-months-old and 40 pounds, so I'll be a bigger lover boy than I am now. I'm just about house trained, comfortable in my kennel and pretty good on my leash. I get along with other dogs, cats and bigger children (it's possible I could knock little ones over). I'd love a home with kind, patient and consistent humans and maybe a canine playmate. A fenced yard would be best, as I love to run and play outside. Do I sound like your kinda guy? Just complete the app so we can meet: www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ **As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out** My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* **Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.** Don't forget to LIKE us on Facebook!-www.facebook.com/rescueonespringfield *Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home. We are a foster-based organization, and we need more fosters to help us save more animals!
