Onyx

Onyx is confused, but is getting with the program. At 7-months old, she was only in a home for the past 4 months and her owner, who is losing her eyesight has had to give up Onyx before she is totally blind. Onyx is a work-in-progress now, ready and eager to learn. She has a lot to say about this new situation, being a very vocally expressive dog. She is a big girl for a puppy and is in power-mode on leash. Her shiny black coat and big pleading eyeballs will warm many a heart. Anyone interested in Onyx should understand that despite her size, she is very much a puppy that needs to learn all the housebreaking, leash-walking, treat-taking skills. But she is up to the challenge. You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment.
