Onyx GCI Trained Graduate!!

Say hello to Onyx! She just returned from GCI (Grafton Correctional Institute) where she spent 12 weeks living with a trainer. From her trainer, “Onyx is a loving, energetic gal! She plays well with other dogs and loves to cuddle and play! Onyx knows commands, sit, down, stay, come, and heel. She’s ready to go home with you today!” This extra fun 1 year old boxer/pittie is a hoot! She’s such a loving, friendly gal that dreams of an active adopter. Onyx would love daily walks, or maybe would be a fantastic running partner. A fenced in yard would be a plus for Onyx! Onyx weighs 56 pounds and can’t wait to meet you!! *If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk. No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
