Opie- URGENT!!

He is a typical toy driven dog. He has lived with his current family since he was a puppy and sleeps in the 7 year old daughter's bed at night. After their year and 1/2 old son tested positive this fall for several things including dog allergies, Opie's family has had the very difficult decision to find him a new home. They are heartbroken over it but I promised I would find him a great new family. Unfortunately his vetting has been a bit neglected- he isn't up to date on his vaccinations and he hasn't had a heartworm test nor preventative in over 6 years. I am looking for a foster or foster to adopt family in the Chicago area that has a safe fenced in yard. Once we have his blood work in, Opie will be neutered and microchipped. Opie is cage and house trained. GSP experience would be an added bonus. He has been hunted over and has been trained with an electronic collar. Opie's family wants him to move ASAP so if you can offer to foster and you have a fenced in yard in the Chicago area, please call Lisa @ 630-694-1359
