Oreo

2 year old Oreo is an easy going, friendly boy that doesn't know what the word "stranger" means. His prior foster home reported that he is both crate trained and house trained. He absolutely loves toys of all sorts and enjoys playing with everyone. He would be a great match for an active household! He recently spent the afternoon outside the shelter: "We got the pleasure to take Oreo out and let's just say he had a blast. Oreo does great for car rides. When we got to our house, he sniffed out the place and got really comfortable on the couch! We took him for a walk and he even went for a little run with my boyfriend! Oreo is leashed trained and doesn't go after things. He a very sweet boy, except if there is a puddle he will in fact lay in it so we gave him a little rinse when we got home. He loves playing fetch but doesn't like dropping the ball. He took a nap (that was after he watched football). He is treated motivated and takes then very nicely he knows sit and stay. He's also super cuddly but just be aware he will get up every once and while and check what's going on outside or if you have a mirror he will check himself out and make sure he is very handsome lol We had a really great day, and Oreo is so sweet and loves everyone." Another volunteer took him home for a night. "I did a sleepover with Oreo, what an absolute joy! He definitely has the energy of a puppy, but so sweet and loving. Loves car rides and hanging his head out the window! Loves to play. We went on a couple of walks, very well mannered, and he listens well. This sweet boy deserves a furever home!" Oreo visited an assisted living hime where bi go was j territory's so that everyone could meet him. He was an angel pup, loving all of the attention and never jumping up. Oreo enjoys going to the shelter playgroups and he enjoys playing chase and be chased games with the other dogs. Like all of our pups, he would like to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home to make sure that it's a good match. He was found as a stray so we don't know anything about his previous life. Oreo is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all of our animals to find homes. In an effort to find homes faster for all dogs with longer stays, who are deteriorating from the stress of the shelter, or who are harder to place, the fee has been waived.
