If you gave up sugar in the New Year, you can still have something sweet with this gal. Oreo, better know as Cookie, has made great strides with her foster family and is ready for a family of her own. She’s silly, playful, and sassy, likes to follow her human and dog friends around so she doesn’t miss out on potential treats, and gives quite a dance performance at meal time. Because of limited human contact in her first few years of life, she will keep a distance at first but will approach for scritches and cuddles when she gets comfortable. Any kids in her potential home should be dog-savvy and understanding of her need to build trust before interactions. She will heed leash with so a safe fenced yard with direct door access a must.
