My Story
Meet Oreyeaux: The Sweetest Shih Tzu Cookie Boy ?
If you’ve been searching for the ultimate cuddle bug, congratulations—you just hit the jackpot. Oreyeaux (pronounced like “Oreo” because he’s a little snack!) is a 7 year old, snuggle-loving, Velcro-pup extraordinaire with a heart as big as his fluff. Despite his heartbreaking backstory, this little survivor has bounced back like the resilient, loveable marshmallow he is.
Here’s his story: Once left starving in an abandoned house (unimaginable), Oreyeaux was saved, only to have his second chance at a forever home fall through after four years (absolutely gut-wrenching). But does he let that keep him down? Absolutely not. This guy is all about second (or third) chances, and his capacity for love is limitless. He’s basically a pro-level snuggler with the cuddling stamina of a weighted blanket.
? Oreyeaux’s Highlights:
• Cuddle Monster: If “personal space” is your thing, Oreyeaux might not be the dog for you—because he will be your shadow and your lap, 24/7.
• Quirky Cutie: This little guy has enough personality to fill a room. From his perfectly imperfect quirks to his big puppy-dog eyes, he’s got “main character energy.”
• Trained & Talented: Kennel trained? Check. Potty trained? Check. Knows how to sit for treats? Double check. Honestly, we wouldn’t be surprised if he started folding your laundry.
• Dog-Friendly…ish: He gets along with other pups, but deep down, Oreyeaux knows he’s star material and would love to be the center of your universe. He does prefer to not share his cookies and dine alone.
He’s ready to find a forever home with a loving, patient family who can match his Level 10 Snuggle Enthusiasm. Are you ready to give him the fairy-tale ending he so deserves?
Adopt Oreyeaux and prepare for your life to get 1000% more adorable (and a little more crowded on the couch). He’s ready to be your partner in crime, your couch potato buddy, and your all-around best friend.
