Oskar

Oskar is a 60lb, almost 4 year old red/chocolate aussie mix. He’s a total love bug and loves nothing more than to curl up with his people. Pets and belly scratches are his favorite activities! He loves snarfing around in the yard, smelling all of the critter trails, romping through the snow and chasing squirrels. We would describe him as low to medium energy. He’s been excellent with both men and women as well as all dogs he’s met so far, he adores the 4 year old girl he lives with currently and has been great with the resident scaredy cat in his foster home. He has not been fully tested with the chickens yet but hasn’t shown much interest in them so we’re anticipating he’ll be fine with them as well. He is very reliable in the house and is very peaceful day and night. He is working on his kitchen manners but is very eager to please and only needs a few corrections to learn the rules in his foster home. He does not seem to have been walked on leash much if at all but he is working on his leash skills and loves when he gets praise for doing a good job. Oskar is a wonderful boy and very cheerful to have around! He would be happiest with a dog buddy or two, his own kid and a fenced yard to snuffle around in but he would do well in a range of homes.
