Meet Oso Papa! He's a 2-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a family that will give him the love he's never had.
Oso Papa was relinquished to a high-kill shelter by his owner. He was terrified but was saved by an adopter the day he was scheduled for euthanasia. Unfortunately, his adopter backed out due to a personal issue and now Oso Papa has nowhere to call home.
We have learned he needs a patient but firm owner. He is working on his manners and will do well with a family interested in working with him on fun skills. He loves brain activities (learning new tricks!). Luckily he is dog friendly, but we are unable to cat test him.
We recommend Oso Papa for a seasoned dog owner who knows that patience is the key to helping a pup become his best self.
