Otis

Meet Otis! Is a young adult male who we believe is a Dachshund mix. He is full grown at 12 pounds. Otis came from a rural shelter where he was surrendered after his owner passed away. He sat in the corner of the kennel just trembling in fear. We were able to get Otis from the shelter into a foster home. It took a few days, but he slowly decompressed and was no longer that timid pup we once knew. He now loves to follow his people around, jump up for close snuggles, and also likes to chew on toys. Otis is dog friendly, and has made himself comfortable in his foster home with dogs of all ages and sizes. Otis is crate trained and mostly potty trained. He's building confidence on the leash more each day! Otis got his clean bill of health at the vet and now just needs one final vaccine booster. He has already been neutered and microchipped, and is up to date on prevention.
