My Story

Little Paco is a really good boy! He loves people and he's a snuggler!! Paco came to the shelter because his former owner needed to move, and they weren't allowed to have a dog at their new location. Paco is cute, affectionate, and appears to love every person he meets! His exercise needs aren't incredibly high, according to his former owner, so he's more of a cuddler and a great friend than a play-buddy. He is crate trained. He has lived with children in the past and he did well. He could potentially live with a very dog-savvy cat, if they left him alone and the two were fed separately. (This chihuahua LOVES his food!!) We're not certain how he'd do with a cat though, as he's never lived with one before, so if a potential adopter had a cat, a slow, monitored introduction would be essential. He wants to be an only dog. And he does tend to sing the song of his people, so he probably wouldn't do well in an apartment, if noise were an issue. If you're interested in Paco, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions to speak with an adoption counselor!
