My Story

LOOKING FOR AN EASY GOING LOW MAINTENANCE DOGGIE?? ? Papa is waiting patiently for a home still. ICYMI, Papas story : Papa was dumped with his sister Mama at the shelter and both were separated as Mama was adopted and Papa wasn’t. Nobody ever checked what happened to papa. 8 MONTHS later, with no interest, he was euth listed. He had a ridiculous number of tags shares and social media frenzy, and no rescue stepped up. Not one. He was actually past due. Leave it to the small rescue who had no resources at the time - we got an extension and then pulled him. He was not socially trained at all. He was so stressed during that entire time at the shelter. He gained so much weight from no exercise for 8 months. He was traumatized . It’s all understandable. We sent him to @nk9academy with a training program (board and train) because we knew if we wanted to give him the best chance at life it would be with this. They worked really well with him and he is still there but Now his training is complete! Note he is really improved his social skills but just needs a home to adjust back to house life and await his forever home. He has had no interest and no applications. He is a wonderful sweet dog but doesn’t get along with other dogs. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve a good life. Seems Mama his forever sister was his one true love and since he had a broken heart. Let’s mend it? PLEASE help us find PAPA a home. Anywhere in California!!!!!!!!! And Oregon!!!!!!
