Papyrus may look like a mythical creature, but her rescue story is all too real. She was surrendered to a shelter in a state of neglect, emotionally shut down and fearful of the very air she breathed.
It took three months in foster care for her personality to emerge, and for her to trust humans again. She is a sweet and gentle soul who loves the company of other dogs. She would do best in a calm and stable home where she can continue her journey of healing.
