Parker

Pet ID: 57667393 Parker is a 2-year-old toy Ausie mix who was recently surrendered to the shelter due to landlord issues. He looks larger in pictures, but is probably between 20 and 25 pounds, and on the chunkier side. Parker is a shy guy and shelter life is not easy for a sensitive soul like him. He was absolutely terrified in his kennel with all the barking and loud noises, so he cowered in the back, trying to hide from the world. We've moved him into the quieter lobby and he is doing much better. While still shy, Parker is looking to bond with his people. He loves to cuddle and be close to his friends. We think he will bond closely to his new family once he feels love and security in his life again. Ideally a quieter home would be best for Parker to help him decompress and feel safe. We've labelled him "no small kids" for the time being just because of his shyness. Parker has been fine with the other dogs he has met but can be a little shy and nervous at first (just like with people). This cutie pie is sure to blossom when he gets out of the shelter.
